Description
This lot consists of six bags of plastic shotgun shell wads designed for reloading 12 gauge ammunition. The collection includes five bags of Federal Champion II shot shell wads, each featuring a translucent white plastic shot cup joined to a black plastic base. Each Federal bag is labeled as containing 250 wads, providing a subtotal of 1,250 units. The sixth bag contains translucent pink plastic wads identified as the Lage Uniwad, manufactured by Farmer Bros. Mfg. Co. of Eldora, Iowa, with the bag marked as containing 500 units. Verbatim markings on the Federal bags include Cat. No. 12C2, 12 GAUGE, 250 WADS, and Federal Cartridge Corporation Minneapolis, Minnesota 55402 U.S.A. The Lage bag is prominently labeled with LAGE UNIWAD THE UNIVERSAL SHOTSHELL WAD, 500, Loads All Popular Cases, and Farmer Bros. Mfg. Co. 1102 Washington St. / Eldora, Iowa 50627. All components are contained within their original printed clear plastic bags.
Condition report:
The exterior plastic bags exhibit signs of age and shelf wear, including surface scuffing, minor dirt, and light fading to the printed text. The internal plastic wads appear to be in unused, clean, and serviceable condition with no visible signs of material degradation or brittleness.
