Description
The Mossberg Model 472PCA is a lever action centerfire rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, designed as a reliable utility and hunting firearm. This specimen features a 20 inch blued barrel and a matching blued receiver, paired with a smooth, gloss finished hardwood stock and forend. Technical specifications include a full length tubular magazine, a receiver mounted cross bolt safety, and a trigger assembly that is integrated into and moves with the lever. The rifle is fitted with factory iron sights including a ramped front blade and an adjustable rear notch. The buttstock is capped with a black polymer buttplate over a white spacer, and the firearm is equipped with sling swivel studs on the toe of the stock and the forend band. Visible markings include the barrel address Mossberg MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 472PCA-CAL. 30-30 WIN. – NORTH HAVEN, CONNECTICUT – and the serial number 939649 is stamped on the right side of the receiver. The internal action appears to function correctly, though this firearm has not been live fire tested for accuracy or safety. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The rifle is in overall good condition, retaining approximately 85 percent to 90 percent of its original blued finish with light thinning on the receiver edges and minor handling wear on the barrel. The hardwood stock and forend exhibit various scattered scratches, shallow dings, and surface impressions consistent with moderate field use, but remain structurally sound without cracks or repairs. The polymer buttplate shows minor scuffing at the edges. The bore is not visible for inspection but the mechanical action cycles smoothly through its range of motion.
