Description
A pair of authentic US military PA108 steel ammunition containers manufactured circa 2006. These containers are constructed from carbon steel with a hinged lid and a tension-style locking latch designed to provide a moisture-resistant seal. Each can features a folding metal carrying handle. The exterior is finished in olive drab paint with yellow stenciled markings. The stencils identify the contents as 800 cartridges of 5.56mm NATO ammunition, specifically a 4-to-1 ratio of Ball M855 to Tracer M856 rounds on M27 links. The cans are marked with Lake City Army Ammunition Plant lot numbers LC-06M693L685 and LC-06K693L670. The rear panels are embossed with the model designation PA108, the manufacturer mark S.C.F., and the manufacture year 06.

Condition report:
The pair is in good military surplus condition with evidence of typical field use throughout. Both containers exhibit surface scratches, scattered paint loss, and areas of surface oxidation, primarily located on the top surfaces. The mechanical components, including the latches and hinges, are intact and remain fully functional.
