Description
This lot comprises a total of 341 rounds of .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR) rimfire ammunition across four original retail containers from Winchester, CCI, and Remington. The collection includes 40-grain Winchester Super X Hyper Velocity copper-plated hollow point ammunition rated at 1435 FPS, housed in a red plastic sliding-lid box. Also present is a tall clear plastic dispenser of CCI Mini-Mag 40-grain copper-plated round nose target ammunition rated at 1235 FPS, and a 50-round clear plastic box of CCI Stinger 32-grain copper-plated hollow point cartridges featuring nickel-plated cases rated at 1640 FPS. Completing the lot is a clear plastic container of Remington 22 Golden Bullet rimfire cartridges. Verbatim markings on the packaging include WINCHESTER SUPER X 22 LONG RIFLE 40 GRAIN, 1435 FPS HYPER VELOCITY HOLLOW POINT COPPER PLATED, VARMINT & SMALL GAME; CCI MINI MAG 22 LR 40 GRAIN 1235 FPS TARGET; CCI STINGER 22 LR 32 GRAIN 1640 FPS VARMINT; and Remington 22 GOLDEN BULLET 100 RIMFIRE CARTRIDGES. Headstamps observed include a stylized W for Winchester, C for CCI, and Rem for Remington.
Condition report:
The plastic ammunition containers show general shelf wear, including surface scuffs and minor scratches. A visible crack is present on the lid of the red Winchester box. The brass and nickel-plated cartridge cases appear mostly clean with some minor tarnishing consistent with age. Several of the projectiles, most notably the Remington Golden Bullets, exhibit significant white lead oxidation, also known as lead bloom, on their surfaces. The ammunition appears to be live and well-seated. We have not function-tested this ammunition.
