Description
This lot consists of 48 new-old-stock Wally Whale brand halibut fishing leaders manufactured by Zak Tackle Mfg. Co. of Tacoma, WA. The assortment features two specific models of terminal tackle: monofilament leaders rated for 60 lb test utilizing 7/0 – 8/0 sized fishing hooks, and heavy-duty leaders equipped with 16/0 hooks and integrated glow-in-the-dark tubing. Each unit is preserved in its original clear plastic retail sleeve with a red and white cardboard header card. The header cards display the trademarked Wally Whale logo, product specifications, and manufacturer details. The glow-in-the-dark versions are further identified by fluorescent pink circular labels.
Condition report:
The collection is in new-old-stock, unused condition. The retail packaging shows minor shelf wear, including light creasing and soft corners on the cardboard headers consistent with age and storage.
