Description
This lot consists of two US military steel ammunition storage containers finished in olive drab green.
The first can is a .30 caliber style container. The front face features stenciled yellow lettering that reads: 480 CAL .30 CARTRIDGES / BLANK M1909 / IN 8RD CLIPS BANDOLEERS / LOT LC 13020. These markings identify the contents as .30-06 Springfield blank cartridges produced at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. The container is constructed with a side-hinged lid, a top folding carry handle, and a tension-latching mechanism.
The second can is an M2A1 .50 caliber style container. One end is stamped with embossed characters reading 09, M2A1, and S.C.F. These markings identify the specific model, a manufacture date of 2009, and the manufacturer as Standard Container Fabrication. The word EMPTY is handwritten in yellow grease pencil or marker on multiple sides of the exterior. This can features a removable lid with a rubber gasket seal, a top folding handle, and a front-mounted latch.
Both measure 11 x 6 x 8 inches.

Condition report:
Both cans are in good military surplus condition. They exhibit typical signs of service use, including paint scuffs, surface scratches, and minor localized oxidation, primarily along the hinges, edges, and bottom surfaces. The latching mechanisms and carry handles remain fully functional. Gaskets appear intact but show standard signs of age.
