Description
This lot consists of 300 rounds of Norma USA TAC-22 High Performance Target .22 Long Rifle ammunition, comprising six individual boxes of 50 rounds each. These rimfire cartridges utilize a 40-grain lead round nose projectile with a factory-specified target velocity of 1100 feet per second. The ammunition is housed in internal plastic trays within cardboard boxes. Prominent markings on the packaging include the manufacturer and model norma USA TAC-22, along with HIGH PERFORMANCE TARGET, 22 LONG RIFLE, 40 GRAIN LEAD ROUND NOSE, and TARGET VELOCITY 1100 FPS. The cartridge cases are formed from brass and bear a headstamp featuring a stylized letter R enclosed in a shield-shaped border.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging shows visible shelf wear, including surface scuffs, dings, and significant paper loss on the front of multiple boxes where adhesive labels were removed. The brass cartridge cases appear to be in good condition without significant corrosion or tarnish. The lead projectiles show signs of lead bloom, which is a white oxidation layer on the surface of the lead; this is common for lead ammunition of this type and age. The cartridges appear to be live and in their original packaging.
