Description
This lot consists of 100 rounds of Rio brand Game Load shotgun ammunition, divided into four boxes of 25 rounds each. These cartridges are chambered for .410 bore with a 3-inch (76mm) shell length, often referred to in European markets as 36 gauge. The ammunition is configured as a heavy field load featuring a 3 dram equivalent powder charge, a 11/16 ounce shot weight of No. 7.5 size shot, and a rated muzzle velocity of 1150 feet per second. Each cartridge is constructed with a red plastic ribbed hull and a low-brass base. Markings on the exterior of the shells include RIO, GAME LOAD, 36-76, 11/16 OZ, and 7.5. Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, unused condition with no signs of corrosion or tarnish on the brass bases. The red plastic hulls remain clean and free of splits or degradation. All primers appear seated correctly and the ammunition is considered live. The factory cardboard boxes show minor to moderate shelf wear, including some light scuffing, minor compression at the corners, and small tears at the opening flaps. Adhesive tape residue is visible on the top and bottom of the boxes from original sealing or subsequent handling.
