Description
This lot comprises 265 rounds of .357 Magnum centerfire ammunition housed in six various boxes from several prominent manufacturers. The collection contains fifty-round boxes including CCI Blazer, Winchester, Smith and Wesson, Federal, and American Eagle by Federal, alongside a white box for 110 grain jacketed hollow point cartridges. The cartridges feature a mix of standard brass and nickel-plated cases with various projectile types. Verbatim headstamps observed within the collection include WINCHESTER 357 MAG, W-W 357 MAG, FEDERAL 357 MAGNUM, S&W 357 MAG, FRONTIER 357 MAGNUM, P-R 357 MAGNUM, R-P 357 MAGNUM, and SUPER-VEL 357 MAG. Box markings across the lot include 357 MAGNUM 110 GR. JACKETED H.P., CCI BLAZER 357 MAGNUM AMMUNITION, WINCHESTER HOLLOW POINT 50 CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGES, S&W 50 Center Fire Cartridges, FEDERAL 50 CENTER FIRE PISTOL CARTRIDGES, and AMERICAN EAGLE By Federal Cartridge Company 50 PISTOL CARTRIDGES 50 CARTOUCHES. Many of the Federal and Winchester rounds are finished with red primer sealant. The packaging displays various signs of shelf wear, including scuffing, edge tears, and old adhesive residue, such as a large red tape repair on the Winchester box and a circular pink sticker.
Condition report:
The ammunition is generally in good condition, with the majority of rounds appearing live and free of heavy corrosion, although minor surface oxidation and tarnishing are present on some of the brass and nickel cases. The primers are intact and properly seated. The cardboard boxes exhibit moderate shelf wear, corner fraying, and some old adhesive residue.
