Description
This is a Gun Guard hard-shell long gun case, commonly attributed to Doskocil, designed for the transport and storage of rifles or shotguns. The case is constructed from durable molded tan polymer featuring a textured leather-grain finish. A prominent design element is the large embossed diamond-shaped panel on the front face which depicts a detailed hunting scene featuring two bird dogs flushing game birds within a landscape of clouds, grass, and scrolling vine motifs. Verbatim markings include the molded brand name GUN GUARD located directly above the embossed diamond scene. The case measures approximately 52 inches in overall length and is secured by four metal draw-bolt latches. It is equipped with dual mottled grey polymer carrying handles. The interior is lined with charcoal-colored convoluted egg-crate foam padding on both the lid and the base to provide cushioned protection for the firearm.

Condition report:
The case is in good overall condition showing signs of moderate field use. The exterior tan polymer exhibits scattered surface scuffs, minor scratches, and light staining consistent with age and handling. The metal draw-bolt latches show some light surface oxidation but remain fully functional. The dual handles are secure. The interior convoluted foam remains intact and pliable, though it shows typical age-related discoloration and some minor compression from previous use.
