Description
This Springfield Model 67E is a pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge shells with a 2 3/4 inch chamber. It features a 28 inch barrel suited for a variety of field applications. The firearm is built with a blued steel receiver and barrel, complemented by a hardwood stock and a ribbed wooden forend. A single bead front sight is mounted at the muzzle for aiming. The shotgun is completed with a black synthetic buttplate. Markings stamped on the left side of the barrel include SPRINGFIELD SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A. MODEL 67E and PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE — 2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER —. No serial number was observed in the provided photographs. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in fair to good condition. The blued finish on the barrel exhibits areas of surface rust and pitting, most notably above the magazine tube assembly. The receiver shows general thinning of the finish with scattered light scratches and handling marks. The hardwood stock and forend display minor dings, scratches, and impressions throughout the wood. A visible green residue is present on the synthetic buttplate. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm.
