Description
This collection of four Wheeler Engineering Delta Series gunsmithing tools is designed for the assembly and maintenance of the AR-15 rifle platform. The set includes a maintenance gun vise, an armorer’s wrench, a bore guide, and a delta ring removal tool. The gun vise features a durable black textured base with a silver-toned metal identification plate and adjustable grey polymer supports for securing components. The heavy-duty steel armorer’s wrench features a grey crinkle-finish coating and various cutouts for standard barrel nuts, castle nuts, and muzzle devices. The bore guide is constructed of gold-anodized aluminum with protective rubber O-rings and is designed to center a cleaning rod while protecting the chamber and bore. The delta ring removal tool consists of a black-coated metal wire frame with a vinyl-covered grip for levering the delta ring. Prominent markings include the silver plate on the vise reading Wheeler Engineering DELTA SERIES, the laser-etched lettering on the gold tool specifying Wheeler Engineering DELTA SERIES AR-15 BORE GUIDE, and an adhesive label on the wire tool marked Wheeler DELTA SERIES. Condition report:
The tools are in overall good functional condition. The vise base shows minor scuffs and some dust accumulation from use, while the adjustable grey polymer supports remain structurally sound with minor contact marks. The armorer\'s wrench exhibits some thinning of the grey finish on high-wear contact edges and minor surface oxidation. The gold-anodized finish on the bore guide is well-preserved with only light surface scratches, and the O-rings appear intact and supple. The delta ring removal tool shows typical wear and thinning to the black finish on the metal arms.
