Description
This lot consists of a collection of three vintage rifle scopes of varying manufacture and magnification. The most substantial optic is a German-made Pecar Berlin unit with a wide objective lens bell and a dual-turret adjustment system. Verbatim markings on the ocular bell include Light PECAR BERLIN 6×59 GERMANY. The second scope is a Bushnell Sportview, which features a gloss black finish and is marked BUSHNELL SPORTVIEW along the main tube. The final item is a Japanese-manufactured fixed-power optic with markings on the eyepiece reading WESCO-64 JAPAN NITROGEN FILLED 4 X 32. All three optics are presented without mounting rings and show signs of field use. These items represent a diverse trio of vintage sporting glass from prominent German, American, and Japanese brands.
Condition report:
The scopes show moderate to light wear consistent with field use and handling. The Pecar Berlin scope displays notable surface scratches, scuffs, and some thinning of the finish on the edges of the objective bell and turret housings. The Bushnell scope shows light handling marks and minor scratches in its gloss finish. The Wesco scope is in relatively good condition with only minor finish loss on the adjustment caps. The optics appear functional with clear glass, though they have not been professionally tested for mechanical tracking, reticle alignment, or gas seal integrity.
