Description
This Marlin Model 120 is a pump action shotgun chambered for 12 gauge, designed for versatility in the field and on the range. It features a 28 inch barrel equipped with a ventilated rib and a single brass bead front sight, suitable for various hunting and sporting applications. The metal surfaces exhibit a blued steel finish, while the bolt displays a decorative jeweled pattern visible through the ejection port. The shotgun is fitted with a checkered wood stock and forend, providing a secure and textured grip. A brown rubber recoil pad with a white spacer is attached to the butt to mitigate felt recoil. Key markings include the model designation Marlin MODEL 120 and the serial number 19811974 on the left side of the receiver. Barrel markings specify 12 GA. – 2 3/4 – 3 INCH CHAMBER – MOD. CHOKE and THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO., NORTH HAVEN, CONN., U.S.A. While the action appears to function correctly, we have not function tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm exhibits signs of moderate wear consistent with regular field use. The blued finish shows thinning on the high edges and areas of the receiver and barrel, along with surface scratches, light oxidation, and freckling on the metal components. The wood stock and forend display numerous scratches, dings, and impressions in the finish, particularly on the buttstock. The bore is bright and appears well maintained. The pump action cycles smoothly, and the trigger mechanism appears to function as intended, though the shotgun has not been live fired.
