Description
This Ruger Super Redhawk is a robust double-action revolver chambered for both .454 Casull and .45 Colt cartridges, featuring a 7.5-inch barrel with a target crown and an unfluted six-shot cylinder. The firearm is constructed from stainless steel with a low-glare matte finish throughout. It is equipped with Ruger factory cushioned grips composed of black rubber with smooth wood side panels and features integral scope mounts machined into the top of the frame for optic attachment. The sighting system includes a fixed ramp front sight with a bright orange insert and a rear blade sight that is fully adjustable for windage and elevation. Key markings include RUGER and the dual caliber designations .454 CASULL CAL. & .45 COLT CAL. on the left side of the frame. The right side of the barrel is marked SUPER REDHAWK while the left side carries the safety warning BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. SOUTHPORT CONN. USA. The cylinder is also engraved with both .45 COLT CAL. and .454 CASULL CAL. markings. The right side of the frame displays the Ruger logo and the serial number 552-45981. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The matte stainless steel finish is in excellent condition, exhibiting only very minor handling marks and a faint, superficial turn line on the cylinder. The bore is bright with sharp, clean rifling. The black rubberized grips and wood inserts are excellent with no notable wear or damage. The action appears to function correctly with solid lockup and a smooth trigger pull in both single and double action, though we have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition.
