Description
A collection of forty rounds of .45-70 Government caliber centerfire ammunition. The lot includes one box of twenty Ultramax smokeless cartridges featuring 405-grain round nose flat point lead bullets, housed in a vintage-style decorative box. The second box contains twenty rounds of PMC (Precision Made Cartridges) 45-70 Government ammunition with 405-grain lead flat point projectiles. All cartridges utilize brass casings. Cartridge headstamps are marked P M C 45-70 GOVT and with star symbols flanking 45-70 GOV.
Condition report:
The cardboard packaging exhibits various degrees of shelf wear, including edge scuffs, corner dings, and minor creases. The Ultramax box has clear adhesive tape applied to one side. The cartridges show minor surface oxidation and tarnishing to the lead and brass components consistent with age. Ammunition is sold as a collectible; functionality is not tested or guaranteed.
