A vintage firearm accessory set for a Shanxi .45 ACP Caliber C-96 ‘Broomhandle’ Type 17 pistol, likely dating to the early to mid-20th century and associated with Chinese military or police issue. The set comprises a light brown leather shoulder holster, a matching leather ammunition belt with individual cartridge loops, and an integrated ammunition pouch, all featuring brass hardware. The reverse of the holster is embossed with the Chinese characters “晉造” (Jìn zào), translating to “Shanxi Made,” and stamped “P01-128.” Also included are a group of four metal stripper clips, one loaded with ten .45 ACP cartridges, three empty, a recoil spring, and a simple woven cloth bag.
Condition report:
The leather items exhibit a consistent patina with minor scuffs, creasing, and wear commensurate with age and use, remaining in good, intact condition. The metal components and cartridges appear well-preserved.
