Description

A Savage Model 1907 .32 ACP semi-automatic pistol, identified by web intelligence as a potentially French WWI military issued example, accompanied by its period holster. The pistol, an early 20th-century design, is constructed of blued steel with composite grip panels. Markings on the pistol include “SAVAGE ARMS CO. UTICA N.Y. U.S.A. CAL. .32. – 7.65-M.” and “PATENTED NOVEMBER 21. 1905.”, with a serial number “157156” near the barrel. The grip panels are embossed with the “SAVAGE” name and a Native American chief’s head logo. The accompanying fitted black leather holster is stamped “1915” on the reverse, indicating its manufacture date, and features a functional brass stud flap closure and internal magazine pouches, consistent with military issue.

Condition report:

Both items present in fair to good antique condition, reflecting their age and historical use. The pistol\'s blued finish shows considerable wear, thinning, and some surface oxidation. The fitted black leather holster exhibits significant wear, creasing, and scuffing, but remains structurally intact with a functional brass stud flap closure.
