An original U.S. WWII M1916 Colt 1911 leather holster. This utility-style brown leather firearm holster features a full flap closure secured by a brass-toned metal stud. The letters “US” (United States) are clearly embossed within an oval on the front flap. The holster is equipped with two metal belt hooks at the top.
Condition report:
The item exhibits considerable wear consistent with age and use, including extensive surface cracking, scuffs, loss of finish, and discoloration across the leather. The metal hardware shows tarnish and oxidation.
