Description

This lot consists of a single Sturm, Ruger & Co. New Model Blackhawk single-action revolver, Serial Number 32-12064. The revolver is chambered in .357 Magnum caliber. It features a polished blued steel finish on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The grips are wood, fitted with inset Ruger medallions. The firearm is configured with an adjustable rear sight and a ramped front sight. Visible markings include the manufacturer inscription on the barrel: STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A. The frame is marked: RUGER? .357 MAGNUM CAL. NEW MODEL BLACKHAWK?. This is a modern production single-action revolver.Barrel length approximately 6.5 inches
Condition: The overall condition is good, showing moderate wear consistent with handling and use. The blued finish retains approximately 85-90% coverage, exhibiting scattered light scratches and handling marks, particularly on the ejector rod housing and the sides of the frame. The hammer shows significant discoloration and patina, suggesting surface oxidation or loss of finish, contrasting sharply with the blued frame. The wood grips are solid but show minor dings and wear consistent with age. The bore appears bright with strong rifling. The single-action mechanism appears to function correctly, cycling the cylinder and locking up appropriately. We have not function-tested this firearm with live ammunition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal firearms laws.
