Description
This Rosco Arms Co. Vestpocket is a compact double-action revolver chambered for the .22 Short cartridge. Manufactured in Germany, the firearm features a short barrel with a fixed front blade sight and a frame-integrated rear notch. The metal surfaces exhibit a black finish across the steel barrel and cylinder as well as the alloy frame. The revolver is fitted with two-piece cream-colored checkered plastic grip panels featuring a circular VESTPOCKET medallion on the left side and a diamond-shaped ROSCO medallion on the right. Key markings include the manufacturer and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel transcribed as ROSCO ARMS CO. over CAL 22 SHORT and the origin mark MADE IN GERMANY on the right side. The left side of the frame is stamped with the serial number 1988220 along with German proof marks including a crown over N and a stylized eagle. We have not function-tested this firearm. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver is in good used condition with a majority of the black finish remaining. Visible wear is present at the muzzle and along the sharp edges of the frame and cylinder. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly in both single and double-action modes, though it has not been live-fire tested. The plastic grips show some minor surface staining and a noticeable gap between the panels along the backstrap.
