Description
This lot consists of 115 rounds of mixed 9mm Luger ammunition housed in three cardboard boxes originally labeled for 50 cartridges each of 115 grain ball ammunition. The packaging is marked MADE IN USA, CAL. 9mm, and 115 GR. BALL, though the contents are a varied assortment of commercial and military loads. Visible headstamps include CCI 9mm LUGER on nickel-plated cases, WIN 9mm LUGER, WCC 78, WCC 85, WCC 88, and WCC 94 indicating Winchester military production, FC 9mm LUGER for Federal, HORNADY 9mm LUGER, and R-P 9mm LUGER for Remington-Peters. The projectiles are diverse, including copper-jacketed round nose, lead round nose, and jacketed hollow point types. Case finishes range from standard brass to silver-tone nickel plating and darkened coatings. The white cardboard boxes display Bi-Mart retail stickers and show minor shelf wear such as corner crushing and light staining.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in mixed condition, with some brass and nickel-plated cases remaining bright while others, particularly the military-stamped Winchester cases, show significant darkening and surface oxidation. The lead projectiles exhibit a dull grey oxidation consistent with age. The cardboard boxes show minor shelf wear, including corner crushing and light staining. The primers appear to be original and undisturbed, though the consistency of the powder charges and overall functionality have not been tested. This lot is sold as-is.
