Description
This lot consists of a pair of factory semi-automatic pistol magazines manufactured by Springfield Armory for the XD-S model chambered in .45 ACP caliber. The magazines feature polished stainless steel bodies with black polymer followers and base plates. One magazine is a flush-fitting version with a 5-round capacity, as indicated by the numbered witness holes 2 through 5 on the side and the base plate marking SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XDS 45ACP 5rd. The second magazine is an extended version with a 6-round capacity, featuring numbered witness holes 2 through 6 and a base plate marked SPRINGFIELD ARMORY XDS 45ACP 6rd. The black polymer extension sleeve on the 6-round magazine is further marked XD-S .45 and U.S. PAT. 7,191,556. Both magazines bear a circular stamp on the lower side of the metal body containing the Springfield Armory crossed cannons logo and text including HS PRODUCT. These magazines are designed for the single-stack XD-S series and provide reliable feeding for the .45 ACP caliber.
Condition report:
The magazines show light surface scratches and minor wear from handling and insertion into a firearm. The stainless steel finish remains bright and the polymer components are free of cracks or significant gouges. The springs provide strong tension and the followers move freely within the magazine bodies. We have not function-tested these magazines in a firearm.
