Description
This RCBS Precisioneered three-die reloading set is chambered for .44 Special. The set includes three steel dies with knurled adjustment rings and one loose lock nut, all contained within a signature green plastic RCBS storage box. The exterior of the box features the manufacturer’s name and the Oroville, California address. A yellow identification label on the side provides the part number 55000, Group B, and describes the contents as 44 Spl. with the designation RN, likely indicating a round nose seating stem. Verbatim markings on the lid include RCBS PRECISIONEERED Reloading Dies and RCBS, INCORPORATED, OROVILLE, CA 95965. The side label is marked PART NUMBER 55000, GROUP B, and DESCRIPTION 44 Spl. RN, with a handwritten price of 15.95.
Condition report:
The dies are in used condition with minor surface oxidation and finish wear from use. The knurled surfaces show light handling wear but remain well-defined and functional. The green plastic storage case shows scuffing, dust, and soil consistent with long-term storage in a workshop environment.
