Description
This lot consists of a quantity of 1 fixed-blade hunting knife featuring a clip-point blade profile. The blade is manufactured from pattern-welded Damascus steel, displaying a characteristic wavy layered grain. The handle is constructed with a central section of natural stag horn, accented by stacked multicolored wood spacers in shades of red, blue, orange, and green. The knife is fitted with a brass crossguard and a brass pommel cap. Included is a brown leather belt sheath with decorative tooled edging and a snap closure featuring an embossed star motif. No maker marks or tang stamps are present on the blade or hilt.
Condition report:
The blade exhibits significant surface rust and oxidation across both sides, which partially obscures the Damascus pattern. The brass crossguard and pommel cap show a heavy aged patina. The stag and wood handle components remain in good physical condition. The leather sheath shows scuffing and wear consistent with use, though it remains structurally functional.
