Description
This is a cased group of 6 reloading components for .45 ACP, featuring a mix of manufacturers housed in a green RCBS plastic storage case. The set consists of six individual metal components: three primary dies and three internal or adjustment assemblies. Key markings on the case label include Part Number 18937, Group B, and .45 A.C.P. CARBIDE. The left-most die is marked for .45 ACP, while the right-most die is marked SIZER and HERTER’S. The middle die features a dark, patinated knurled adjustment top. The internal components include a decapping and expansion assembly, a secondary threaded adjustment rod, and a smaller seating plug. The case lid is marked RCBS PRECISIONEERED RIFLE & PISTOL DIES and identifies the manufacturer as RCBS, Inc., Oroville, California 95965.
Condition report:
The metal components show visible signs of use, including light surface oxidation, grime, and finish wear throughout. The Herter\'s die exhibits more significant external wear and dulling of the finish compared to the RCBS components. The green plastic case is in fair to poor condition, showing heavy staining, material loss along the edges and corners, and a significantly soiled, peeling, and discolored lid label. The internal plastic dividers remain functional but show accumulated grime and residue.
