Description

This is a top-break, double-action revolver chambered in .32 caliber. The firearm is equipped with an approximately 3-inch barrel featuring an integrated blade front sight and a notched rear sight located on the barrel latch. The frame is constructed of steel and retains a significant portion of its original nickel-plated finish, while the five-chambered cylinder and barrel assembly show substantial wear. The revolver is fitted with black checkered hard rubber grips that feature a circular medallion with an intertwined H&R style monogram. Prominent markings include the manufacturer designation EMPIRE STATE ARMS CO stamped clearly along the top of the barrel rib. The serial number 24701 is stamped on the bottom of the grip frame. Note – As an antique or black powder firearm, this item does not require a background check.

Condition report:

The revolver is in poor to fair overall condition. The nickel-plated finish remains largely intact on the frame but has been almost entirely lost on the barrel and cylinder, which exhibit heavy surface oxidation, a dark patina, and significant pitting. The bore is dark with visible pitting throughout. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm for safety or mechanical reliability. The hard rubber grips are in good condition with crisp checkering and no visible cracks or significant chips.
