Sold for: $575
Description
This Taurus double-action/single-action revolver is chambered in .44 Special and features a five-shot cylinder capacity. The firearm is equipped with an approximately 3-inch barrel featuring a ramp front sight and a fixed notch rear sight integrated into the top strap. The construction is of blued steel, complemented by aftermarket Pachmayr black checkered rubber finger-groove grips that include gold-colored medallions with the Pachmayr lion logo. Key markings include TAURUS-BRASIL on the left side of the barrel and .44 SPECIAL on the right side. The right side of the frame is stamped with the Taurus logo, TAURUS INT.MFG. MIAMI, FL. – USA, and MADE IN BRAZIL. The serial number LC600461 is clearly visible on the right side of the frame, while assembly numbers 434 and 8878 are stamped on the frame and yoke, visible when the cylinder is open. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows moderate wear throughout, including thinning at the muzzle and a distinct cylinder drag line. There are scattered areas of light surface oxidation and minor pitting on the frame and cylinder. The hammer and trigger exhibit some discoloration and light surface rust. The rubber grips show minor handling marks but remain supple and intact. The action appears to function correctly in both double and single-action, though the firearm has not been function-tested.
