Description
This lot consists of a bulk quantity of 250 spent rifle ammunition components contained within a clear plastic resealable bag. The casings are constructed of brass and are chambered for .223 Remington. Each component is a fired casing intended for reloading purposes, featuring empty primer pockets and a bottleneck design consistent with the caliber. Verbatim headstamp markings on the base of the casings include WINCHESTER and 223 REM. The casings show a natural brass finish with varying degrees of surface oxidation and tarnishing from previous use. These are inert components and do not contain primers, powder, or projectiles.
Condition report:
The brass casings are in used, once-fired condition. The exterior surfaces exhibit widespread tarnishing, spotting, and light surface oxidation consistent with age and storage. The primer pockets are empty and appear structurally sound for resizing and reloading. The case mouths show some minor irregularities typical of spent brass but remain generally circular. No significant dents or structural failures were observed in the representative samples.
