Description
A Spanish-made semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum, the Star Model B Super is a refined iteration of the Model B, featuring a simplified takedown lever and no grip safety. This example is configured with a blued finish on the slide and frame, an external hammer, and a frame-mounted thumb safety. The furniture consists of checkered brown synthetic grips, and the pistol is equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a rear notch sight. Key markings include the Star sunburst logo followed by STAR B.ECHEVERRIA EIBAR-ESPAÑA S.A. CAL. 9 m/m P on the left side of the slide, while the right side is stamped MODELO SUPER. The butt of the grip frame is marked B SUPER. The matching serial number 53278 is visible on the right side of both the frame and the slide. Additional markings include a C.A.I. GEORGIA VT import stamp on the rear right side of the frame and SPAIN stamped above the trigger guard. This firearm is missing its magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows significant holster wear and thinning throughout, particularly on the slide and high edges of the frame, with visible areas of surface oxidation and light pitting. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The checkered synthetic grips remain intact with moderate wear and smoothing to the texture but no visible cracks.
