Description
This Rexio RJ-Series is a double-action revolver chambered in .38 Special, designed as a compact six-shot sidearm. The firearm features a 2.5 inch barrel with a fixed front blade sight and a frame-notched rear sight. The metal surfaces are finished in a matte black, and the revolver is fitted with black textured polymer wrap-around grips featuring a gold-toned medallion with PL initials. Key markings include the model and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel as REXIO RJ – Serie .38 Spl. and the manufacturer on the right side as REXIO Fabrica de Armas. The right side of the frame is stamped with the origin Ind. Argentina, the serial number 069396, and the importer mark RSA Ent., Inc. Ocean, N.J. next to a small encircled star proof mark. The left side of the frame bears the warning Do Not Use +P Ammo. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The revolver exhibits moderate to heavy physical wear throughout. The matte black finish shows significant thinning and loss, particularly on the cylinder, barrel, and frame edges. There are numerous light scratches and handling marks present, along with a notable patch of white surface residue on the left side of the frame behind the cylinder. The bore appears relatively clean with visible rifling, though some fouling is present. The double-action and single-action cycles appear to function correctly, and the cylinder locks up with some play, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The polymer grips are intact with some minor scuffs but no cracks.
