Description
This lot consists of a Lyman All-American rifle reloading set for .270 Winchester, presented in its original factory box. The set contains a total of seven components, including three steel die bodies: one blued finish die, one polished steel seating die, and one polished steel sizing die. Also present within the blue-flocked interior are a decapping rod and expander assembly, a small steel decapping pin, and two additional small cylindrical metal components. The dies feature knurled grip sections and threaded bodies with adjustable locking rings. Key markings include the box lid labeled Lyman All-American 2-DIE RIFLE SET and FOR COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS LIFT LOWER PLATFORM, while the seating die is marked LYMAN 270 WIN and the sizing die is marked LYMAN SIZER GL. This set is missing the shell holder and the original printed instructions.
Condition report:
The metal components exhibit signs of age and use, including surface oxidation and light rust on the threaded sections and locking rings. The blue-flocked interior of the box shows some debris and wear. The original cardboard box is in poor to fair condition, displaying significant tearing, scuffing, and structural degradation to the lid and edges.
