Description
This lot consists of two custom-style fixed blade knives featuring Damascus steel blades. The first knife is a hunting-style drop point with a visible folded steel pattern and decorative filework along the spine. Its handle is constructed with a central section of genuine stag antler, accented by multi-colored spacers in black, yellow, orange, and maroon, and finished with a brass guard and pommel. The second knife is a full-tang utility or skinning knife with a drop point Damascus blade. The handle scales are composed of two parts: a forward section of figured light-toned wood and a rear section of cream-colored polished material, likely bone or a synthetic alternative, secured to the tang with three metal pins. Both knives are accompanied by brown leather sheaths featuring decorative stamped patterns and perimeter stitching. No maker marks or tang stamps are present on either specimen.
Condition report:
Both knives are in excellent condition, showing no evidence of use or sharpening wear. The Damascus patterns remain clear and the handles are structurally sound. The leather sheaths are in good condition with functional stitching and minimal storage wear.
