Description
This lot consists of a total of 27 rounds of centerfire ammunition, including .44 Rem Mag ammo and .45-70 Government caliber cartridges. The first group contains Speer .44 Rem Mag cartridges, featuring brass cases with headstamps transcribed as SPEER 44 MAG. These rounds include at least one copper-jacketed bullet with an exposed lead nose. The second group comprises .45-70 Government rifle cartridges stored in a brown plastic MTM Case-Gard 18 box. These cartridges feature Winchester-Western headstamps marked W-W 45-70 GOVT and are loaded with large cast lead round-nose bullets. The ammunition is presented in yellow and brown plastic storage containers.
Condition report:
The ammunition shows visible signs of age and long-term storage. The brass cases exhibit varying degrees of tarnish and oxidation. The cast lead bullets on the .45-70 cartridges show a distinct white oxide film. The plastic storage boxes are intact but show minor surface wear and light soiling. The primers appear seated correctly, though the ammunition has not been function-tested for viability.
