Description
This lot consists of two fixed-blade machetes and one black woven nylon sheath. The first machete features a steel blade with a curved profile and a black textured plastic handle. The handle includes finger grooves, a blue oval insert on both sides, and is secured with three screws. A small white adhesive sticker with the digits 68 is present on the blade near the hilt. The second machete features a steel blade with a black coating and is stamped CHINA on the tang. The black plastic handle has finger grooves and is secured with four screws. An auction house lot tag numbered 13052 is adhered to the blade. The sheath is made of black woven nylon with a belt loop.
Condition report:
Fair to poor. The first machete exhibits heavy oxidation, surface rust, and pitting on the blade with signs of sharpening wear. The second machete shows significant scratching to the blade finish and a broken section of plastic at the pommel. The sheath shows light wear.
