Description
This Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded Marine Corps Operator is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, designed for tactical and duty applications. The firearm features a 5 inch barrel with a stainless steel hood and a two-tone aesthetic comprising a matte black slide over an olive drab green frame. The frame is equipped with an integrated accessory rail on the dust cover for mounting lights or lasers. The pistol is fitted with black checkered Pachmayr wrap-around rubber grips featuring gold lion medallions, a skeletonized hammer, and a skeletonized trigger. Sighting is provided by three-dot night sights marked USA H3 22. Key markings include the model designation OPERATOR / CAL .45 on the left side of the slide and SPRINGFIELD ARMORY with the crossed cannons logo on the right side. The right side of the frame is stamped SPRINGFIELD INC / GENESEO IL USA along with the serial number NM 308549. The barrel hood is marked S.A. .45AUTO. This lot includes a Springfield Armory branded black soft case, an owner’s manual, a red chamber safety flag, a small bag of tools, and a total of three magazines, including two standard-capacity blued steel magazines and one extended-capacity magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in excellent overall condition, retaining nearly all of its original matte black and olive drab green finish. There is minor mechanical wear visible on the barrel hood from cycling, which is typical for this model. The bore appears bright with sharp rifling. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The Pachmayr rubber grips are well-preserved with no significant wear or degradation. The included magazines and accessories show minimal signs of use.
