Description
This lot comprises 20 rounds of Federal American Eagle brand .50 BMG centerfire rifle ammunition, presented in two original retail boxes of ten rounds each. These cartridges are loaded with 660-grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectiles and are designated with the manufacturer product code XM33C, intended for long-range target shooting and training applications. The ammunition utilizes reloadable brass casings that exhibit the characteristic heat-treat discoloration at the neck and shoulder resulting from the factory annealing process. The copper-jacketed projectiles are seated to standard specifications. Verbatim markings on the black cardboard packaging include American Eagle, XM33, 10 Centerfire Rifle Cartridges, 50 BMG, 660 Grain FMJ, and XM33C. The headstamps are clearly marked with L, C, 1, and 1, identifying the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant as the manufacturer with a production date of 2011. The cartridges utilize boxer-style primers which are protected by a red lacquer sealant.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, unused condition. The brass casings are bright and free of corrosion, showing only the expected factory annealing marks at the neck and shoulder.
