Description
This lot features one Tanfoglio Model BTA90, also identified as the Baby TA90, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Parabellum. The firearm is configured with a 3.5 inch barrel and operates on a double-action/single-action system with an external hammer and a frame-mounted safety/decocker lever. The pistol features a satin silver-tone finish on the slide and frame, complemented by checkered black polymer grips. The sighting system consists of a fixed red-dot front sight and a two-dot white rear sight. Key markings include the model designation MOD. BTA90 – MADE IN ITALY, CAL. 9mm. PARABELLUM, and ARMI FRATELLI TANFOGLIO SPA on the left side of the frame. The left side of the slide bears an importer warning reading DO NOT USE GUN UNTIL YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS / MANUAL AVAILABLE FROM: EXCAM-HIALEAH-FLA 33013. The barrel hood is marked CAL. 9 PARA. A matching serial number G 28482 is stamped on the right side of both the frame and the slide. The right side of the frame also displays Italian PSF proof marks and an AU date code indicating 1989 manufacture. Included with the firearm is a blue plastic hard case with a matching serial number label for a MOD. BABY TA90C, one spare blued magazine, and two cleaning brushes. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The satin silver-tone finish is in overall good condition, showing minor handling wear and light surface scuffs consistent with age. The checkered black polymer grips are well-preserved with sharp texture. The bore was not inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The included plastic case and accessories show light storage wear.
