Description
This lot consists of 500 loose rounds of mixed .22 Long Rifle ammunition contained within a Winchester M-22 bulk box. While the packaging indicates the box originally held Winchester M-22 40-grain black copper-plated round-nose cartridges with a muzzle velocity of 1255 feet per second, visual inspection reveals a diverse assortment of rimfire cartridges. Many of the visible brass cases feature the Rem headstamp, identifying them as Remington manufacture. The contents include both lead round-nose and hollow-point projectiles. The cardboard box is printed with the Winchester rider logo and M-22 branding, along with safety warnings in English and French. The packaging also includes the MADE IN USA mark. This lot is sold as a bulk quantity of mixed rimfire ammunition.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in serviceable condition with some minor oxidation and tarnishing present on the brass cases. The bullets are securely seated. The assortment is mixed in type and manufacturer. The Winchester M-22 cardboard box is in fair condition, exhibiting shelf wear, surface scuffing, and tearing on the top opening flaps.
