Description
This semi-automatic rifle is a Palmetto State Armory PSAK-74 chambered in 5.45x39mm. It is configured with a standard 16.3 inch barrel fitted with an AK-74 style muzzle brake and a stamped steel receiver with a black finish. The firearm features plum-colored polymer furniture including a fixed buttstock with a ribbed metal buttplate and side-mounted sling swivel, a textured pistol grip, and a ribbed handguard. It is equipped with a standard adjustable tangent rear sight and a hooded post front sight, and it comes with one black polymer Magpul PMAG 30-round magazine. Prominent markings on the underside of the receiver are transcribed verbatim as PALMETTO STATE ARMORY WEST COLUMBIA, SC, CALIBER: 5.45X39mm, MODEL: PSAK-74, and S/N: AK74003857. The manufacturer’s logo and a partial serial number 3857 are stamped on the left side of the receiver, and a matching partial serial number 3857 is visible on the bolt carrier. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The firearm is in good used condition overall. The black finish on the metal components shows moderate wear and thinning on high-friction areas, including the muzzle brake, safety lever path, and the edges of the receiver and trigger guard. The plum polymer furniture exhibits some light handling marks and minor surface scuffs but no cracks or significant damage. The bore was not inspected, but the external condition suggests the rifle has been well-maintained. The action appears to function correctly when cycled manually, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The metal buttplate shows finish loss and light silvering on the raised ribs.
