Description
This lot comprises 100 rounds of .30 Carbine centerfire ammunition featuring copper-jacketed round-nose bullets. The collection is divided into two distinct groups based on casing material: 50 rounds are housed in bright brass cases, and 50 rounds are housed in cases with a copper-washed steel finish, resulting in a characteristic reddish-brown color. The ammunition is organized within two translucent plastic storage boxes. No manufacturer headstamps or markings are legible on the cartridges in the available images. These rounds are consistent with the standard projectile weight and profile for the .30 Carbine caliber, commonly used in the M1 Carbine series of firearms.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in very good condition. The brass cases are clean and bright, while the copper-washed steel cases show no signs of significant corrosion or pitting. The copper-jacketed projectiles are well-preserved and securely seated. Primers appear intact and properly seated. The plastic storage cases are in good structural condition.
