Sold for: $775
Description
This FN Herstal Browning Hi-Power is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm NATO, representing one of the most widely used service handguns in history. It features a 4.7-inch barrel and a classic double-stack magazine configuration. The metal surfaces exhibit a dark blued finish across the slide and frame, complemented by black checkered synthetic grip panels designed for a durable and secure hold. The pistol is equipped with a fixed front blade sight and a notched rear sight. Verbatim markings include FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL BELGIQUE on the left side of the slide and CAL 9×19 NATO on the barrel hood. The matching serial number 245NM039160 is struck on the barrel, the right side of the slide, the right side of the frame, and the backstrap. Additionally, an import mark for NHM CO SAC. CA is visible on the right side of the frame. The firearm includes one detachable box magazine and a lanyard ring loop at the heel of the grip frame. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The blued finish shows significant surface wear, characterized by thinning along the high edges, numerous scratches, and handling marks throughout the slide and frame. The bore was not inspected but the action appears to function correctly when cycled manually; however, the firearm has not been function-tested. The black synthetic grips are well-preserved with minor scuffs and crisp checkering. All stamped markings remain clear and legible.
