Sold for: $60
Description
A trio of 20-round detachable box magazines chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO or .308 Winchester, intended for use with Heckler & Koch G3 or HK91 pattern rifles. This lot consists of two magazines with a blued finish and vertical and horizontal ribbing on the bodies, and one magazine with a matte black finish and smooth sides featuring two vertical reinforcement ribs. Key markings include hand-written identification labels on adhesive tape reading G3 – H+K 91 20rd .308, G3 H+K 91 7.62×51 20rds, and G3 HK91 .308 20rd. One magazine is stamped on the lower edge with the NATO Stock Number 1005-12-127-1167. These magazines are standard military and commercial patterns compatible with various clones and variants of the G3 platform, such as the PTR-91.
Condition report:
The magazines are in used condition with varying degrees of finish wear consistent with surplus items. The blued examples show thinning and scratches, with one floorplate exhibiting significant surface oxidation and light rust. The matte aluminum magazine shows minor surface scuffs and finish loss. All followers move freely under manual spring pressure. Adhesive residue from the identification tape is present on all magazine bodies. Springs appear to retain good tension.
