Description
A two-piece hardwood furniture set designed for the Italian Fucile S.A. Tipo 2, a shortened semi-automatic rifle variant of the M1 Garand system chambered in 7.62mm NATO. The set consists of a main rifle stock and a rear handguard constructed from dark-stained hardwood, likely walnut or beech. The stock features a steel buttplate with a checkered texture and a functional hinged trapdoor for storage. Both components are presented in their original Italian military-issue brown paper packaging with printed identification labels. Key markings on the stock packaging include FABBRICA ARMI ESERCITO TERNI, CONTRATTO N. 2545, Ditta MECCANICA TRENTINA – RIVA, DENOMINAZIONE CASSA, N.
