Lot 184:
A Lot of 100 Rounds PPU FMJ Rifle Ammunition 7.5x54 French
Sold for: $140
Description
This lot features 100 rounds of PPU centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in caliber 7.5×54 French, divided into five retail boxes of twenty cartridges each. Each cartridge is equipped with a 139-grain (9.0 g) Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) projectile seated in a reloadable brass casing. Verbatim transcription of the headstamp markings reveals the letters PPU at the 12 o’clock position and the characters 7.5×54 at the 6 o’clock position. The ammunition is housed in five original blue cardboard boxes, which are marked with the manufacturer logo, the caliber designation 7,5×54 French, specific bullet weight and type information, and a safety warning to keep the product out of reach of children. These modern cartridges utilize non-corrosive primers and clean-burning powders, suitable for use in rifles chambered for the French service round.
Condition report:
The ammunition is in excellent, factory-new condition. The brass cartridge cases are bright, clean, and entirely free of corrosion or oxidation. The copper-jacketed FMJ projectiles are securely seated without deformation or damage. All five cardboard boxes are in good condition, showing only light shelf wear and minor scuffing at the edges and corners. The ammunition appears to be live and properly stored.
