Lot 198:
Tanfoglio Combat Shooting Cohai Semi-Automatic Pistol 9mm Luger with 4.5 Inch Barrel
Sold for: $375
Description
This Tanfoglio Combat Shooting Cohai is a semi-automatic, hammer-fired pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Manufactured in Italy as a refined iteration of the CZ-75 design, the pistol features a 4.5-inch barrel and a robust all-steel construction. The firearm is finished in a traditional bluing and is fitted with checkered wooden grip panels. Sighting is provided by a fixed front blade and a dovetailed rear notch sight. Extensive markings are found throughout the piece; the left side of the slide is marked TANFOGLIO GIUSEPPE-GARDONE V.T.-ITALY, while the frame is stamped COMBAT SHOOTING COHAI. The barrel hood specifies the chambering as CAL. 9 PARA. The matching serial number E 07906 is clearly visible on both the right side of the slide and the frame. Additional frame markings include CAT. 5578 along with Italian proof marks including the PSF and Gardone crests. An importer mark for Century Arms, C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT, is located on the underside of the trigger guard adjacent to MADE IN ITALY. This lot includes one detachable box magazine. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.
Condition report:
The pistol is in fair to good overall condition. The blued finish exhibits moderate holster wear, most notably thinning at the muzzle and along the high edges of the slide and frame. Scattered handling marks and superficial scratches are present on the metal surfaces. The wooden grips show several small dings and compression marks, particularly on the lower edges, with the checkering remaining largely intact. The action appears to function correctly through manual cycling, although the firearm has not been live-fire tested. The bore was not inspected.
