Description

This is a Walther Model 4 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.65mm (.32 ACP) featuring a 3.5-inch barrel. This hammerless design was a primary sidearm for German police and military forces in the early 20th century. The firearm features a blued steel construction with a right-side ejection port and fixed iron sights. The receiver is fitted with checkered black hard rubber grips featuring a stylized CW logo monogram within an oval. Prominent markings on the left side of the slide include SELBSTLADE-PISTOLE CAL. 7,65. WALTHER’S-PATENT. followed by the Walther banner logo. The right side of the frame is marked Carl Walther, WAFFENFABRIK Zella St. Blasii. and bears the serial number 210472. Imperial German crown over N proof marks are visible on the left side of the slide and frame. The pistol comes with one detachable magazine featuring side witness holes and is accompanied by a modern black plastic Walther-branded carrying case. Note – All firearms require a federal 4473 background check.

Condition report:

The original blued finish shows significant holster wear and thinning, primarily on the slide and high edges, which has transitioned into a smooth dark patina with areas of surface oxidation. Light pitting and pinpricking are visible on the forward section of the slide and the exposed portion of the barrel. The bore has not been inspected. The action appears to function correctly, though we have not function-tested this firearm. The black hard rubber grips show moderate wear to the checkering, with a small hairline crack noted on the lower portion of the right grip panel. The magazine shows expected finish wear and retains a strong spring. The modern plastic case is in excellent condition.
