Sold for: $100
Description
This lot consists of 78 rounds of Norma brand 7.7x58mm Japanese centerfire rifle ammunition, marked as 7,7 Jap. or 7.7 JAP. on the packaging. The collection includes two older wood-grain patterned boxes containing 180-grain soft point semi-point boat tail cartridges with product number 17722, one older box containing 130-grain soft point semi-pointed cartridges with index number 110, and one more recent Medium Game box containing 174-grain soft point cartridges with product number 201772292. The brass casings feature headstamps transcribed verbatim as norma on the top and either 7,7 Jap or 7.7 Jap on the bottom, and some silver-colored primers bear the NP mark. The cartridges are housed in various styles of plastic tray inserts within their original factory cardboard boxes.
Condition report:
The four factory boxes show moderate shelf wear including scuffing at the edges, light staining, and an old price sticker on one box face. The ammunition appears to be in good condition with bright brass cases showing only minor, age-related surface oxidation. Projectiles and primers appear to be properly seated and intact.
