Lot 241:
A Lot of 60 Rounds of PPU Rifle Line Ammunition 6.5 x 52 Carcano
Sold for: $70
Description
This lot consists of 60 rounds of PPU (Prvi Partizan) Rifle Line centerfire rifle ammunition chambered in 6.5 x 52 Carcano. The collection includes both soft point (SP) and full metal jacket boat tail (FMJ BT) cartridges, suitable for sporting and target use. The assortment features 123-grain (8.0 g) SP bullets and 139-grain (9.0 g) FMJ BT bullets. Each cartridge is constructed with a reloadable brass case and is part of Prvi Partizan’s standard commercial production line. Prominent box markings include the manufacturer logo “PPU” alongside “RIFLE LINE AMMUNITION” and the caliber designation “6,5 x 52 CARCANO.” Individual cartridge headstamps are transcribed verbatim as “PPU 6.5 x 52.” The ammunition is housed in factory cardboard packaging that indicates an original capacity of 20 cartridges per box.
Condition report:
The ammunition appears to be in new, factory-loaded condition. The brass casings are bright and clean with no evidence of corrosion, significant tarnishing, or damage. The primers are seated correctly and appear to be live. The factory cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear, including light scuffing at the corners and small creases on the flaps, but they remain structurally sound and the labeling is clear and legible.
