Description

This lot comprises a collection of 357 rounds of 9x18mm Makarov caliber ammunition produced by various manufacturers. The assortment includes one box of Hornady Critical Defense 95 grain FTX ammunition, two 50-round boxes of Russian-made Brown Bear 94 grain bimetal Full Metal Jacket ammunition with lacquered steel cases, four 50-round boxes of Sellier & Bellot 95 grain FMJ ammunition with brass cases, and two 16-round boxes of Russian-produced FMJ ammunition from the Tula Cartridge Works. Prominent markings across the packaging include Hornady Critical Defense 9x18mm MAK 95 gr FTX, Brown Bear 9mm Makarov 94 Grain Bimetal FMJ Lacquered Case Made in Russia, and Sellier & Bellot FMJ 9 mm Makarov 95grs 6.1g SB9MAK. Headstamps on the brass-cased cartridges are clearly marked S&B 9mm Mak. The Russian surplus boxes feature a blue stamp indicating 9×18 Makarov 16 rounds and Made in Russia. The ammunition is housed in original cardboard boxes with plastic or cardboard internal trays.

Condition report:

The ammunition is in good, clean condition overall, showing no signs of corrosion, oxidation, or significant damage to the cartridges. The brass cases are bright and the lacquered steel cases maintain their original finish. The projectiles appear seated correctly with no visible tampering. The commercial cardboard packaging exhibits typical shelf wear, including some compression at the corners, edge fraying, and minor tears, particularly to the thin cardboard Brown Bear boxes. While the lot is specified at 357 rounds, one tray for the Hornady ammunition shows 24 cartridges present with one empty slot. All other boxes appear full according to their marked quantities.
